top firm but not growing/liking my team

i got a role at a top company in a great team. i am liking my role but i am having a few problems.

a. my team is full of women. they are nice people but working with a mixed crowd is better for me long term. b. my team is abroad and i am not sitting with them because i don't have a Visa. it is a big office but i don't work with anyone here so it is very lonely. the earliest i can get a Visa is next may through a lateral transfer but i am stuck in this company then because of this Visa type. lateraling to a UK team is not an option as there are none i'm qualified for but in the US there are many opportunities i would fit - but again i don't have a Visa. c. there is no focus on fast execution (even though there is a short-term focus) or career development/growth in general (there is no career ladder for example). it is all about finding your own projects and executing at your own pace with weird leadership from my manager (she asks 1,000 people the same question which is annoying as it delays the projects and put's doubt in me as to whether if i'm doing a good job or not).

i tried to apply to other companies in industry but i'm not sure how my experience in this role translates to anything outside of this firm. there are many opportunities i could leverage myself into in the US but i don't have a Visa and UK recruiting is limited (read: sucks) in general. it is also hard to move industry at this point as i'm over a year out of graduation and it would mean starting from scratch which sets me back (potentially even interning first and there is a chance i don't even get the FT offer). i'm scared to leave this firm though, unless there is another good opportunity, as its a good name on my cv.

what shall i do please? suffer in silence until mba level?

sorry for the poor formatting i am using my crappy phone ;)
