Transaction Group

Hi,

I got a summer internship in M&A. Apparently I am in the Transaction group. What is exactly the ''Transaction Group''? That sounds fucking creepy. Is it an industry group? Is it really M&A? What do people do there ?

Thanks

It s not the same than in the US. You don t choose your group beforehand, you re affected to it. Now does anybody knows what could be the transaction group ?

its a group that does transactions.

ask the HR reps to send you some information on it.

or search their website.

The world has changed. And we must change with it.

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.

Sounds like you are going to make sure the $$$ flows tie out before the deal settles. At least, that's what the transaction group did for the Structured Products Desk where I used to work.
