Transferring Schools 2 Times For IB
How bad would it be looked upon if I transferred 2 times? (3 schools in total) I transferred to a better non-target spring semester of freshman year and was just accepted off the waitlist at an upper semi-target for January 2023. Would this be looked super down upon if I ever apply to grad school?Have a BB IB internship lined up for summer 2023 (graduating in 3 from non-target)Any advice is appreciated!
If you have an internship secured already, why would you move again? One transfer is fine - can say you wanted a better shot at IB. But 2 transfers gets into weird territory and given you have a BB internship lined up it doesn’t make sense.
Just stay put, do well at your internship and get the return offer.
To be completely honest, I am very afraid that the school will never escape me and after IB it will be incredibly challenging. I got lucky the first time after grinding, who knows about the second.
Take the chip off your shoulder. After you work for a few years, your school won’t matter. May matter if you want to go to MF PE, but assuming you’re going to a decent BB shop, your school won’t matter for much. Just keep a good gpa.
