Transitioning from Operational Risk to Revenue-Generating roles

Hey guys,

I’m a recent Engineering graduate from Brazil, currently working in Operational Risk at a large bank. I also had a brief internship in Corporate Banking. I want to transition into a more market-focused or revenue-generating role, like Credit Analysis or Asset Management, for example, with long-term goals in IB or PE.

What roles would you recommend as a next step for someone with my background? Any tips for standing out during this transition?

Thanks!
