Tried to go in for the kill, but nothing. Anything else that can be done from here?

I remember reading a recent thread about going in for the kill for a job that you really want and I tried what I could with no luck.

1. I first tried to tap into alumni but nothing
2. I also submitted my application online (just in case)
3. I tried to cold email the HR VP responsible for first round phone screening with my resume attached and no response
4. After waiting over 2 weeks with no response, I sent an email to the company recruiter who posted the job to follow up on my application with my resume attached and no response

Anything else that I can do to land an interview? I also know who the hiring manager is but I haven't made any contact attempts yet
