Trying to break in AM or ER...offered a sales position with a mutual fund

I have one remaining semester (no finance internships, only one for an insurance company) and I eventually want to break into AM or ER. I am offered this full time position (evening classes) in which I will essentially offer advice and information about the co's mutual funds, network with brokers/advisers, etc (one step below wholesale). Should i do this? eventually, I want to become an analyst

Take it. You will get licensed, and have time for studying and networking, as well as have time for a life. Only downsides are the lower pay and dealing with the fucking losers that have been there for 20 years. If you don't get anywhere within a year or so, master's programs will become an option.

Plus, you kind of don't have anything else, soooo.....

Get busy living
