Trying to break into finance and finding it hard to get good training institutions

I currently work in the IT field and have been getting really interested in Finance. I have recently come across institutions such as Investment Banking Institute and The Analyst Exchange. They currently offer modeling classes with and unpaid internship. I am trying to get a little bit more information on the legitimacy of these institutions and trying to see what other institutions offer such services. I am very curious about their placement rate after people intern at these firms they have an agreement with (that is not counting folks already in the industry just going for training). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to spend that much money only to have a bogus unpaid internship that wont amount to anything even though I do go above and beyond during the internship.
