Undergraduate summer intern pathway

Hi all,
I'm in what you could call an unconventional spot. I'll be transferring to Vanderbilt as (hopefully due to credit hours) a sophomore who is looking to do SA for 2020. I secured a low level real estate finance internship for this summer where I'm currently working. I had a 4.0 at my previous school but after 100+ applications to all types of summer internships for this year and tugging on strings, I'm stuck here.

I know the process is already going for next summer, so other than cold emailing and following up, what's my best shot of getting something more prestigious for next summer?
Thanks in advance
