Updating a resume after submitted

Hey, everyone! I was just recently promoted by my current employer where I work part-time (from teller at a bank to working in the accounting department). However, I got this promotion after I had already given my resume to the program manager over internships for a bank. My question is simple: I don't want to seem like I am annoying or email the manager too much, so should I send them my updated resume and just ask that they update it in their system? Or should I just go into interviews saying, "oh yeah I just recently got a promotion."?

Thanks in advance for the help!

There is nothing annoying about sending an e-mail like "Hey so and so, I was recently promoted at X job to Y position. I'm still very interested in a position at Z company, and I've included my updated resume to reflect my new responsibilities".

Something like that noimsayin
