Urgent help the non compete!

Alright so I just received an offer at another bank for another industry vertical.

My current bank just started giving noncompetes out when I signed (I’d be the first to leave post this contract provision). I’m about to resign but terrified they’re gonna enforce the non compete on me… do I tell them I’m leaving the industry for good? If I lie will they try to contact the other bank when I update my LinkedIn in 3 months and ruin my career?

Any advice on how to go about this would be great!
