Using someone as a referral before you've actually spoken to them?
On the internship application it asks for a referral. I arranged for a call with an employee two weeks from now. Is it okay to put them down prior to us speaking? I dont want to wait because I want to apply ASAP.
I wouldn't recommend it. If you put him as a reference before you speak with him, he's going to see it and it might irk him enough to potentially harm your app.
