I have recently accepted a valuation control analyst position in a BB top three in CEE. I come from a non target university in Eastern Europe with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, and had an internship in a Big 4 in their Valuation/M&A practice but with very limited deal flow as it's a small office in CEE.
In this current role we work mostly with traders doing independent mark review and valuation and pricing of various derivatives.
What are the general exit opportunities for this role?
I would like to one day get a FO role and am taking the CFA Level 1 in December.
