Value of Ivy Job Postings

I'm trying to get my hands on login/pass's for Ivy schools to access better job listings. I'm non-target so figure that I'm missing out on a lot of opportunity by not seeing these vacancies.

What would you reasonably pay for access to Harvard's/Penn's listings?

JWR34Nothing because you won't be able to apply to them anyways...

...but you can get the name of a recruiter or a contact there. That's generally what nontargets do with other school's OCR listings.

For most postings there is no recruiter name. When there is one, it's because that recruiter has been specifically assigned to your school.

Valuable to say the least. Once you get a hold of the recruiter's info you can dish out your little elevator speech. Top some of the Iveys stories and if you've networked properly I'm sure you'll open a few doors.

That being said, its still a long shot on getting a hold of the recruiter.

I speak from experience...I never paid for other school's login information but I sure as hell asked friends at Ivys and other targets to let me have their login information and check out who was hiring. I found that most of the time there was not contact information but if I called in their career center I could get it. Props to thinking outside the box...when you come from a non-target you have to do anything you can. Remember....Network, Network, Network

I wouldn't pay more than a token of appreciation to a friend (pick up dinner or the bar tab one night) for access to a school's OCR. You got an HR rep's contact info? That's great, you could have done the same thing on LinkedIn.

MM IB -> Corporate Development -> Strategic Finance

Got my hands on one already- most listings, especially with boutique/mm's (which, lets be honest, coming from a non-target is my best shot) have contact info for recruiters. I've gotten interviews using other schools postings (target but non-ivy). I figure- the better the school, the better the listings, regardless of competition.
