Verbal job offer - when to discuss a bonus you’re due to receive from current employer
I have a meeting with a company I’ve been interviewing for and I think (hope) they’ll be giving me a verbal job offer. I’m not sure at what point I tell them I’m waiting to receive a bonus from my current employer which is paid at the end of the month/in a couple of weeks so I don’t want to resign until then but I would want to accept the job. Is that a pretty standard issue that employers deal with? At what point would I discuss waiting to resign/start date/or the potential for a signing bonus instead?
