Volunteer IBD?

I'm a senior at a nontarget school and just recently got into finance this year through a co-op internship with a top bank. Other than this internship, I have no experience in finance.

I am doing all I can to network and learn about IBD, but my credentials do not promise a future offer. I would like to volunteer as a summer IB analyst to gain the experience. Are there opportunities to volunteer as a summer IB analyst or within IBD? Specifically in Los Angeles?

If so, could you name any opportunities?
