Want to join OTS but maybe not enlist. Would banks look down upon this?
I want to do Marine Officer Training School but am not sure if I want to join Marines afterword. If I don't join the marines I'd want to do Sales&Trading. Would banks look down upon the fact I didn't join the marines? Or would the OTS be a positive?
its a shame people want to join a program like this purely for their resume.
You will be weeded out pretty quickly if you don't really want to become a Marine. Additionally, I would imagine it would be looked at with a lot of suspicion as to why someone would go through OTS and not become a USMC.
Where do you guys come up with these questions?
I'm pretty sure you sign a contract of some sort to do those standard 4 years of service before actually starting OTS. So you may be "stuck" in the marines. Unless you really fuck up OTS on purpose.
