It doesn't completely sound like you've been dinged, it sounds more like the team liked you, but there might be a few more candidates that are equally or slightly more qualified that they still have to meet with and, as such, don't want to lead you on only to ding you.

You need to be a bit patient and follow-up in the next week or so if you don't hear from them. The ding without saying ding email leads you a bit more to that outcome - your email sounds more like there are a few better candidates out there, but you're still in the hunt since you made a good impression.

In short, I wouldn't go canceling your other interviews just yet, but I would also follow-up and not completely give up just yet. Good luck and keep your eyes open for more opportunities.

Possibly,

It depends on how well you did on the interview? If it was alumni interviewing you, ect? I would not assume you were dinged because all the rejections I received were straight out.

Email them something innocent in a week. A question, maybe an article that references something you talked about during the interview, or just to check in. If you get a response, you know that your still in play. Know that at BB, HR does play a bigger part than most students realize. If they gave you a positive review, there is a good chance that you will get an email from HR about the next step, but its not a guarantee.
