Weird Networking Situation

Hello!

I am networking to try to land a gig out of college, and I have a contact that I got a long with quite well at a previous internship (He's a senior sales guy - very nice guy, and Im sure lots of contacts given the nature of his job). We stayed in contact back and forth for a few months after I finished my internship. He's the sales guy who covered an institution I previously interned at (that's how I got an internship at his firm - I didn't work in sales, but his sales relationship with the firm I was interning at earlier let me branch out and intern at his firm).

How do I, after almost 2 years of not talking to him, come around and ask for introductions? Ask for post-graduation career advice first and then snowball it into asking him if he can help with introductions to places that are hiring?

Thanks!!
