What Can I Do This Summer?

I'm about to enter my senior year of undergrad as a finance major and don't have an internship this summer. I guess I would have considered myself rather uneducated on the whole process when applications were due this past year. I want to get into IB, and am wondering what I can do this summer to improve my chances of getting an SA position or one of those real jobs after school. I have some connections at a few places and plan on mining the bageezus out of those come Fall, but other than that...

Consider starting your networking now rather than in the fall. That way you will already have developed a relationship with people before recruiting season starts. Also there are many technical aspects to IB interviews so maybe start prepping for that in case you haven't. Try out some modeling on excel. Goodluck!
