What happens if you don't make it?

To those who went to complete non-target universities and stood no chance and were rejected from multiple IB internships and eventually ended up with no offers - what did you do? How did you accept being not good enough?

Here in the UK if you don't go to a target you don't stand a chance given the intense competition.

Don't you ever see the people in top BBs in IB or EBs or in PE and feel envious? Don't you get angry at yourself for not working harder to get into a target uni to get into IB?

How do you overcome the natural inferiority complex you develop from not being good enough? Doesn't it make you angry and rage? How do you deal with accepting you're inferior and not good enough and will always be lower than those who got amazing grades and went to a target and got elite IB jobs

How do you accept you're in an inferior position in the hierarchy?

You get another fucking job like anyone else. Or you just sit and cope and mope like a loser

I still have a year to find out if I haven't made it yet.

I most likely won't due to my A Levels and non-target undergrad even though I'm doing an LSE master's degree.

I'll probably hang myself if I don't get any IB offers I would have wasted so much fucking effort all for nothing ffs.

ragebait account or not suicide ain’t no joke - if your being for real please go see a therapist or someone you trust.

It seems you use this account to rant at everything and anything that’s gone wrong with your life even if it was years ago and its doing you more harm than good (and frankly I don’t know why you keep posting on here as I think everyone just takes the piss out of you now for justifiable reasons)

If anything if you don’t get into IB with LSE you’re just going to use your poor a levels as an excuse rather working on your present self. If I were you, I’d get off this app and work on my mental wellbeing.

Do HF don’t be a beta cuck

you can get into a decent ER shop from LSE masters if you actually take the time to figure out how to be competitive. A lot of ACA/accounting xp in even good BBs like MS and JPM. Could try lateral to a lower tier firm for IBD or internally when in ER too if you’re set on PE.

The truth is if you’re not willing to do big 4 or whatever, then that is your problem. You’re not hungry enough. If you messed up your a levels you need to take the longer route.
