What next? - Going into my sophmore year
Aspiring for IBD in New York, I am going into my sophomore year ... I just finished a freshman summer PWM internship ... whats the next step?

1) Get a new name
2) Get good grades
3) If you have time, try and land a part-time job with an I-bank in your town if there are any. Some cities have small M&A shops who might hire students part-time and teach you a lot. If not, maybe try and get close with a finance professor who does research and see if you can be an assisstant to them
4) Look into and apply at every I-bank that has a summer internship program be it BB, MM, or boutique. You are better off with a MM internship than a great PWM one as far as experience goes. Too many PWM gigs and you'll get labeled an asset guy
