What to do after 4th interview?
Hey guys,
Recently, I completed some interviews for a FT credit position at BB. For context I just graduated.
I had three interviews on the Friday before Memorial Day. For my last interview, the executive director was supposed to interview me but could not make it so I interviewed with another associate from the group. I thought the interviews went fairly well. Come the following Tuesday (last week), the Executive Director reaches out to me and says they want to do a final interview despite being told previously that there would only be three interviews. Interviewed with director. I thought it went well and they started the interview saying I interviewed strongly with their other colleagues. They said at the end of the interview that they would try to have a decision by the end of the week and that basically everybody I interviewed with would get in a room together and decide if I get the role or not the following day. I heard nothing Thursday and Friday.
On the following Monday, I called director directly, no response. I emailed them after asking status, further processes etc. Heard nothing as of today (Tuesday). I also emailed the associate I felt I made the most impact with and received an automatic OOO reply email. Turns out associate has been out of office since last Thursday and wont return until this Thursday. Does this have some kind of impact on not hearing back on the original expected dates? Am I overthinking this or did I mess up at some point and not get the role?
