What to do in this situation.

Had a few rounds of interviews with this Bank in San Fransico back in January/ February. After the last interview, I followed up with a thank you email, and he replied that they are looking to bring someone on in the middle of the summer so to reach back in March/April. The interviews and our emails seemed positive, and he said he would make sure to keep my name in the conversation. 

I reached out to him again last week to touch base and for next steps, however he did not respond. Should I follow up with another email or would that come off as too desperate.
