Went through multiple rounds of interviews, got offered a job, only for a head recruiter at a T2 firm to call me and say that the position (summer intern) has been eliminated. I’m a freshman but I’m looking for consulting experience, as I want to do data analytics based consulting. What should I do this summer, since my offer got pulled? How to best try to break into EYP / similar firms from a non-target?
