What would you guys do?
Okay guys I am very new to the forum and looking for some help. I will give you a little background...I am currently a junior at a non target school. I am in the honors programs and have a 3.2 GPA, 3.7 business GPA. I have previous intern experience in the financial service industry and am involved in the finance society.
What should I be looking at for internships? I know this summer is huge and my schools career service department is not helpful at all so I am a bit lost. I am looking for the best opportunity that could help/lead to a FT offer. I am open to most areas including PE, IB, consulting, real estate ect. I am looking in the northeast.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
You should be applying everywhere. There is no reason not to apply broadly. Look at your schools career websites, network with alumni at places you'd be interested in working at, and look online to see what other openings may be available.
