When do FLDP intern applications typically open?
Currently recruiting for IB, but also extremely interested in FLDP programs. When do these programs typically open up applications? How much networking should be done prior to applying, is it similar to IB in that sense?
F500 CF is not on the crazy IB accelerated recruiting timeline (thank god). At least for the company I work at, the online applications don't really matter at all. We go to campuses in Sept for a corporate presentation/informational session, do a first round on-campus interview in Oct, and then invite finalists to a superday on-site at HQ in Nov. There's a few coffee chats and cocktail sessions in between all that.
You'll want to meet folks at the events on campus and connect with them. The key is fit. F500 companies don't want to be in the business of giving IB kids offers who will sit on them as back-ups to their IB recruiting. They want candidates who are genuinely interested. If you have a clear IB background and resume, you'll really have to work to sell them on the why.

Then it's all about networking. As the poster said below, find some current members of the FLDP and reach out to them to loop you into their process along with asking for referrals to speak to others.
