I accepted an offer for ECM at a BB and signed everything. They said there would be a background check for me but didn't elaborate when it's taking place. I'm asking because one internship I had was at a bank without an HR team, and basically they can only contact the people whom I worked with. Typically, when do they start the bg check, and should I inform them of this?
