When Does Hiring Pick Up Again?

I'm holding onto my role and have been searching for well over a year - want to move between T1 cities. Cannot seem to find any firms hiring, for anything. Seeing almost exclusively shops that have toxic culture &/or high turnover in market. Know some people from my MBA class are still unemployed/underemployed or went back to banking/consulting with similar stories on the lack of laterals.

WSO has lots of speculation on when things will accelerate but I don't know a single person in my network that has confirmed a 'hiring push' coming with the new year. Certainly not happening at my fund either.

When do things actually pick back up, is it January 20th, mid-summer, next Christmas, 2030?
