When to do Interview Research?
So I just sent out cover letters and resumes to 10 companies. Thats 10 potential places that I could be interviewing at. Besides the basic research on what the company does and the position needed to write an effective cover letter, when is the appropriate time to do heavy research on everything about the company? I don't want to be wasting time researching companies that I'm not going to be interviewing at. So I guess a side question is, what are the odds that you will have to do a phone interview immediately, or are phone interviews always scheduled for a future date/time?

Interviews are always scheduled for a future date/time.
