When you realize your cover letter still says 2014....

I have been making the same stupid mistake over the past few weeks. I submitted tons of cover letters with the date still listed as 2014.

I have a strong resume (2 years F.O experience, 1 M.O), go to a semi-target, and have applied to tons of S.A positions, but only got 1 first round with a BB. Maybe that's the explanation for it, maybe not. I also cannot go back and edit any of the cover letters I have already sent in (OCR/Online).

So yea.. don't make the same mistake I did. Update your cover letter

I had a similar situation - submitted cover letters with 2014 on all of them but still got first rounds with all BB's / EBs that recruit at my school. Depends on who reviews the application and how competitive it is I guess.
