Where are we heading to?
A lot has been said about the how over 90% of the trades today being controlled by computers..M still in my 2nd year of my graduation..wondering what to get into..equity research, S&T and portfolio management.
What would you suggest woud be a good decision, lets say 10 years from now? will trading be 100% computerised? will there be no more traders? and can i move from working as an ER analyst to starting my own Asset Management firm one day?
*how
Probably best to avoid trading / S&T if you can't program and can't do advanced math
do someone need to be a good trader in order to be a good hedge fund/portfolio manger? going by the profiles of most hedge fund managers, most of them were top traders at big banks?
I can tell you right now that you will not succeed in ER based on your writing skills.
i meant does..typo..and i missed the 'right' after big banks? and m not Shakespeare
Well if you think like that maybe you're better off as a male nurse or something. Always jobs available and can't automate that area. :)
haha..i just stood up and clapped for your efforts of trying to be funny
Which one is funnier to you:
A kid of your verbal delivery thinking about starting his own asset management firm or a male nurse?
My sincere advice is to start from the basics.
If you would have added yourself as an option, I would have chosen you.
Well written.
