Where to apply?

Graduated from a non-target but still very reputable school in May with a relatively low gpa. No job prospects - didn't search / apply too much so it was mostly due to slacking.
So I started my MBA in Finance this July at a very non-target school only because I could go for no tuition at the time, and I will finish by July of 2015 at the latest. Ultimately looking to get my foot in the door at any BB, no particular division although I would like to work in securities or investment management.
My experience includes summer internships at MetLife in the summers of 2011 and 2012. Where / when would be the best place / time to apply?
Also, I'm thinking of applying somewhere local (possibly bank teller) if nothing comes up and finish my MBA as quickly as possible - would there be any advancement opportunities there? Any advice is appreciated.
