Will Big 4 Rescind Offer?
Hello,
After a successful recruiting season, I received two internship offers from the Big 4 one for audit at PwC and one for risk advisory at EY. After receiving the offers they have already preformed the initial backgrounds check on me and it was all clean. But unfortunately I was recently convicted of a DUI, my record was clean beforehand. My question is will the big 4 rescind my offer if I have a DUI on my record, once they preformed another background check before I start my internship? Should I be upfront and let them know about it?

That's rough man sorry to hear about that. I don't know that it's the "right" thing to do but I would not mention it. If its the first time its a misdemeanor. If its the first time there's a good chance you can get it reduced too. Talk to the DA. Not a lawyer. Just some advice. Also check out sites like Avvo. Good luck.
