Will it be impossible for me to get an internship

I have a 2.9 GPA but I estimate that will go up to a 3.2+ recently switched my major to Finance, and haven't really gotten into my major, although I have pretty much every basic class. I'm a junior.

It will definitely be an uphill battle, and the battle is compounded if you are at a non-target. You have to have a convincing story of hardship. It just can't be "I enjoyed dicking around". Finance is not the hardest major so they will expect you to have around a 3.5. Since you're currently a junior your best bet is to cold call, not cold email, boutiques ASAP so you can position yourself for FT recruiting.

Get involved on campus and try to manage an internship next semester. Good luck.
