Withdraw an application so I can submit a better one?

I have submitted a spring week application but made a typo or two (my bad) and now have a much better answer to one of the competency questions. The deadline for apps is still a month away and I know they don't start interviewing until end of jan/beginning of Feb so I assume they haven't started screening yet - especially with SA recruitment not yet finiished.

Would it be noticed if I withdrew my current application and submitted a new one? Do HR ever see withdrawn application or are they auto-deleted? If it was picked up on, would they care?

Thanks
