Working in NYC vs Boston Exit Opportunities

Got identical offers as a big 4 financial consultant with the same firm, however I can choose between their NYC or Boston location.

Would there be better exit opportunities to do something such as investment banking/private equity/hedge fund/ and networking opportunities if I lived in NYC compared to Boston?

I would appreciate any advice.
