Hey, I got a call to interview for a marine finance summer internship with World Fuel Services, and I can't really decipher the purpose of this internship, it's all over the place.

If you are wanting to get on with one of the major oil companies I think it would be helpful. Not as much as working for one of them directly, but I would assume those are already full.
Solid internship, solid company, and it's in Miami... Looks like you have a good setup. This won't help you a great deal on The Street, but it's a nice opportunity if you're not dead-set on working in NYC.
