Worried about typo w/ school passing year - Goldman Sachs background check
I got the verbal confirmation from HR about the job offer and she mentioned about background check.
Now my question here is which resume will 3rd party use for background -
1. Will they ask for resume in background check forms?
2. HR will share it with 3rd party which I gave them for interview process?
Incoming BB SA intern that just went through background check: they use the resumé from your interviews and you have to sign a statement saying you didn’t misrepresent any info in your interviews.
did you not have to fill out a very detailed form that asked for employment history, educational history, reference checks, and contact info for people at your prev. internships?
Yes, had to fill that out but was not formally asked for a resume. They still have the resume you submitted for your SA app/interviews on file.
ofc they have the resume we submitted (it's literally on my application portal online as well). Having said that, I doubt they look at the original resume unless the form you filled out is empty. They mostly just use the form to conduct the background check.
Its FT offer and I think they will ask for this info with offer letter just got the verbal confirmation.
Have a friend who is an incoming intern at GS and he mentioned that he got a form that asked him to list his prev. work exp. on a large form including other parts so I think the same might be the case for you.
