Worth applying in England?

Hi all,

Currently an undergrad with IB experience and a dual Canadian-UK citizenship, at a pretty good school in Canada. Is it worth applying for Spring/Summer IB/S&T internships in the UK? Would they even consider someone not from one of UK/Ivy League/Top Euro school? Would appreciate any input on if it's worth pursuing.

No harm in applying but I haven't even seen an ivy-league kid in any SA so far across a few BBs and EBs. Think London tends to recruit from London and continental Europe.

even less from continental Europe nowadays with Brexit, some banks have a strict uk only policy. FYI, someone from Berkeley was a JPM (or MS?) SA a few years back

Not sure if this applies to BB/EB too as I work in RE; but I know quite a few Canadians working in London. Some did their SA in NYC and couldn't get a US visa so ended up being relocated to the London office; others just wanted to be in London from the get-go and did their SA here.
