Worth the investment?
A friend of mine suggested that I check out this leadership program called Monster DLP. It is a weekend long networking and leadership event with fortune 500 companies. I checked it out applied and got in but when i check out the companies coming, it wasn't too impressive. Most impressive name was Vanguard investments. Fidelity was there as well. There will be small scholarships but the main thing that stood out to me was that I was looking at the list of other students attending, there were not many people from top 10-15 schools attending. Its a 300 flight ticket but they pay for the food and a place to stay (dorm). Do you think its worth the investment? Are leadership programs such as these typically helpful/stand out on a resume?
