I’ve been offered a spot at a boutique valuation and consulting advisory firm for this summer. They mainly go over finding the purchase price of a business and stock worth. Would this be beneficial for my recruiting purposes?

This sounds great. Most of my interviews didn't even ask about what I was doing my sophomore summer, but the ones that did didn't care as long as it was related to finance. This is a great way to spend your time and hopefully gain some skills. Congrats on the offer and good luck with junior SA recruiting.
