Would you lateral given the market?

At a mid tier BB in a group I like. I love the other analysts and associates - they’re seriously awesome, but not a huge fan of the VPs+. Seems like a lot of them are generally incompetent and not very thoughtful behind what we’re doing (outside of a select few).

Have the opportunity to lateral to a boutique that supposedly has great culture and my total comp would increase by nearly 45%.

Would do you guys think?

If you are young, single, and have no one else to take care of but yourself then the answer is always take the leap. Good luck.
