advice, after a number of poor life decisions

Recently turned 27, 4 years experience in management accounting, one open university degree in sales and marketing management (low first class honours), and one degree from Aston Business School in business and management (low first class honours again). not in the elite category of UK universities but still respected enough to get a number of my friends into top tier consulting/banking roles. Recently relocated to Malaysia after graduation to work for a relatively new QROPS firm, this involves a lot of cold calling and the exposure to the fund management side of things has not materialised at all. This was one of the many many poor decisions I have made, obvious from my current age and status.

Very interested in Asset Management, currently doing my research on the differing paths I could take in this field. I fear my lack of relevant quantitative knowledge will hamper my efforts to break into this area. I guess the advice I'm looking for is how best to advertise myself given the qualifications/experience I have, and what qualification would be best for me to start looking at now? Ie MBA/CFA or a shorter term course for now that boosts my quant knowledge?

Any advice is welcome, thanks in advance
