Balkan Prince Introduction
Greetings chimps, primates, baboons and gorillas and other simians, I am balkanprince.
I will graduate with a degree in psychology this year from a local university. Time flew by extremely fast during the pandemic, I know, but something seemed off.
The call for adventure in finance doesn't let me sleep calmly at night. I first learnt about macroeconomics during the college freshman year while trading at the stock market and game theory from a sociology course at uni. One thing let to another from there and started researching ways to raise a little capital for my venture(which me and my team managed to raise for building the product) and that's how I heard about IB. Finally, I networked myself into a top 50 EU bank which operates in my country and I got offered an IB internship that will start in the following months.
Yep, you hear me right. I broke into IB from psychology. Finance is a results driven sector so I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, as most of my life I have had to compensate for the inexistent prestige with interpersonal skills and sheer determination. I guess that's the magic of coming out of literally nothing.
I will update you guys on my journey. Here comes my portofolio building arc. Looking forward to meeting fellow simians.
