Career opportunities - Insight on some opportunities?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some insight on what opportunities I might be able to pursue in the finance industry based on my education/work experience. I recently passed the CA exam and will have my letters in about a year; and am registered to write CFA level 1 in June. I currently work for a Big 4 accounting firm. I would ideally like to try working in NY in a few years but don't know anything about the industry, the competitiveness of applications, or the value (if any) of also having a CA designation in addition to becoming a CFA
