(cliche) Hi, I'm new here and need your help

Hello everyone, I am very new to all this Finance mumbo jumbo in regards to finding the correct avenues to pursue once I graduate. As of now I am scheduled to graduate this Fall. I am looking for an Internship in the Los Angeles Area, and would love to hear of any boutique banks that are in the LA area that I can begin to apply.
A few facts
-3.3 GPA
-I Study at CSUN
-I have volunteered in student programs (Student Gov, United Nations, etc.) throughout my tenure on campus.

While I know my GPA is not stellar, and my college is possibly in the very back pages of any I-banking firms list of target schools (If even on at all).

I would greatly appreciate the help from you all in weighing out my options for the future. As this is something that I feel strongly about.

Thank you! WSO famiry (with the r not the L)

You should be looking for internships while you're still in college. A lot of people get hired via callback after an internship. See if any alumni from your school have ever broken into the business and then try to get in contact with them.
