For undergraduates, the application procedure generally involves the following :

1. Preparing and taking the standardized tests (IELTS / TOEFL)
2. Sending the scores reports to the universities.
3. Selecting the universities.
4. Students must complete a single UCAS form available at all Bristish council Offices in India. The form to make a choice of six universities and courses.
5. Getting your official transcripts
6. Getting letters of reference
7. Preparing your statement of purpose
8. Planning and getting all the necessary financial documents.

For Postgraduates, the application procedure generally involves the following :

1. Preparing and taking the standardized tests (IELTS / TOEFL)
2. Sending the scores reports to the universities.
3. Selecting the universities.
4. Sending your score reports (GMAT / TOEFL / IETLS)
5. Requesting Application Forms (Online/Hardcopy)
6. Arranging for official transcripts
7. Work on a detailed Resume including all information of professional work experience along with the details like positions held, achievements and range of work.
8. Getting letters of reference or recommendation letters (signed statement from a person who knows you well professionally or has taught you in a subject that is related to the course you are applying to. It should list your positive and negative qualities, strengths and other such information.)
9. Preparing the personal application essays, and/or statement of purpose that gives the admission committee assessing your application their most significant impression of you as an individual.
10. Planning the financial documents (vita to get the Visa)
