My guess is if GS wants you with a 2.8 they probably aren't going to care about a 2.77...if they ask, just explain that you had to round to 1 dp online and said the same for consistency...

Rounding a 2.77 to a 2.8 is just convenient. I have no idea what the hundreds digit is in my GPA. I've always rounded to the tenth.It's not like you rounded a 2.5 to 3 or something like that.
This is probably not a big deal at all. On another note, is this an IBD SA gig we are talking about here? Because if yes, and if this isn't just a troll post, then I would be very curious as to how you went about getting the gig.
I think the biggest issue here is that you're interning at Goldman Sachs and you just asked an internet forum if rounding 3 basis points on your GPA will cause you to lose your position.
