Econ major seeking advice

I'm a senior graduating in May '16 and I had been planning to go into a PhD program at my school (UT) but got totally burned out on school and am ready to start working. My major has focused so far on mostly theoretical economics (with the exception of a series of forecasting and econometrics courses). I am trying to find out from you guys what I can do in my next year to position myself for a job at either a bb or boutique IB or equity or hedge fund.

Any advice is appreciated!
