Finance Major from Cal State school - how to get foot in the door?
Hi everyone, I'm interested in getting some advice concerning how to begin my post undergrad career in Finance with the goal of becoming a stock trader. I earned my B.S. in Finance from a Cal State, gpa 3.84, in 2014. I went to one year of law school but have realized it is not what I want to do. I love Finance and especially the stock market, and it's where I want to build my career. I'm willing to go to whatever depths are necessary to "get my foot in the door." But I'm very interested to hear what might be some good first steps/positions and what my chances of breaking into the field are one year out of school without professional Finance experience.
Thanks in advance. It's great to be here!
